Where did you get that idea from? Bitcoin has nothing to do with any governments or banks. All transactions are done without any permissions from anyone, except for the miners who could in theory reject questionable transactions, which hasn’t ever happened, as far as I know.
True. Having androids consume human food would reject all the advantages of pure electricity as source of energy. However, there are two advantages to this approach:
- These kind of android might be extremely suitable to pass as actual humans.
- Such androids would continue to function even in the case of a global catastrophe that cripples all electricity grids.
Those special advantages are rather narrow, though, and would restrict them to the use by militaries and secret services.
